This company is really horrible to deal with. A few weeks ago I had them move a fridge out of my basement and another in. Depsite sending them a picture and measurements of the fridge prior to the appointment time and being assured this was an "easy" job they sent two guys not up to the task. My home was extensively damaged (deeply scratched hardwood, damaged banisters, destroyed a piece of laminate flooring in the basement, chuck out of my wall etc.) I was assured the company would make amends. Instead I was yelled at and repeatedly insulted by their operations manager. Despite this I made the fair offer of only asking to be reimbursed for the materials to complete the repairs. Ted, the operations manager, gave me his word that he would take care of this. Instead they have been stringing us along and now have only offered half. I strongly suggest choosing another company for your move- the staff are negligent and rude. I will update this review should anything change.

I moved to a new location on April 1st and the moved was done without a problem and fast ,it was referred from a friend and I do not regret to deal with this company, they were very professionel and fast ,they know what there doing and I will recommened Wayne & Nazir to be your driver they are very nice guys

Arrived when expected, and on time. No hassles whatsoever. The end to end experience was very positive. Team was courteous and able to follow directions well. Cost less than expected. Recommend tipping well and at the beginning.

El Cheapo Movers moved my daughter into residence at U of T. The service from the office was great, the movers were fast, friendly, professional. They gave us a student discount, and the move cost less than I budgeted. I will definitely book them again when my daughter moves home for the summer!

Your crew was outstanding. Ahmad, Bernard, and Matt were exceptional in every way: politeness and professionalism, care and thoughtfulness with the items, speed and stamina. These guys worked SO hard, never complaining, never slacking, never checking cell phones or idling. They pushed it from start to finish, yet were not careless or sloppy for a moment.
Moving is tough on everyone, and they made it less so.
Thank you again, El Cheapo. This was our fourth move (more, including my parents' moves with you many years ago) and we will turn to you again (although, gosh, we don't want to move again anytime soon :)) and will recommend you highly.

We used El-Cheapo to move out of our condo into storage this past July, and they were fantastic. Efficient, friendly, on-time, and professional, we liked working with them so much that we've booked again for August when we move into our house. Highly recommended.

This is my second move with El Cheapo and both times, it wasn't a straightforward move. These guys were on time, under budget, FRIENDLY and professional. They were very careful with all of our belongings and incredibly accommodating. I have recommended them to several people and we will be using them for all of our moves in the future.

The worst company~ had to deal with the rudest, most annoying Scottish guy on the phone; with such a lack of people skills amazing anyone would hire him, never mind let him talk to customers. Then they send two guys to my house, one stayed in the truck the whole time and the other wouldn't stop talking about how he was in a homeless shelter and all the honorable moves he had done in the past. Very slow, and my 2 hour (super small) move took six hours! Hated the whole experience with El Cheapo!

Worst move ever. Two guys that had clearly been hired off the street (it was end of month) showed up almost 5 hours late. They left my belongings on the lawn of the new place shortly after 11 pm because they had another job to get to. They damaged a number of items as well replacements cost me what I would have paid elsewhere - in fact more.
